Is this the same as the ice machine my surgeon mentioned?
It does the same job, circulating cold therapy for your knee, but without an ice reservoir. Instead of drifting with melting ice, the NICE1 holds a temperature you select between 42°F and 58°F, and it adds intermittent compression.
Which wrap will I get for my knee?
Knee rentals ship with a knee-specific wrap: Knee Universal in S/M or L/XL sizing, or the Knee Articulated Universal. We'll confirm the right fit when we call you.
Can I use it overnight?
Yes, overnight use is supported. Because the temperature holds where you set it, you can sleep through a session instead of waking to change ice.
Do I need a prescription to rent?
No, a prescription is not required to rent. There's an optional field on the form if you have one, and if you're renting through WCB or private insurance, tell us on the form and we'll walk you through it.
