Pricing
How much does it cost to rent the NICE1?
$43.00/day or $300.00/week (CAD), billed in two-week increments. Full pricing is on the pricing page.
Is there a deposit or balance due on delivery?
No — full payment is taken at checkout via Stripe. There is no deposit and no balance on delivery.
Delivery
When does the unit arrive?
Two days before your surgery date, tested and ready, Canada-wide.
When should I order before surgery?
Whenever suits you — delivery is always calculated as two days before the surgery date you give us, however far ahead you enquire.
The device
Do I need a prescription to rent?
No, a prescription is not required. There's an optional field on the form if you have one, and it never blocks your enquiry.
How is the NICE1 different from an ice machine?
The NICE1 holds a chosen temperature for the whole session; ice-based units start cold and drift warm as the ice melts. See the full comparison for detail.
Coverage
Does insurance or WCB cover this?
It depends on your plan or claim. Mention it in your enquiry, our coverage pages list the paperwork we can supply for common payers.
