Modern Recovery Lab<\/strong> These Terms and Conditions (\u201cAgreement\u201d) govern the rental and use of equipment provided by Modern Recovery Lab (\u201cCompany,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d or \u201cour\u201d). By renting any equipment, including the NICE1 Recovery System (\u201cProduct\u201d), you (\u201cRenter,\u201d \u201cyou,\u201d or \u201cyour\u201d) agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.<\/p>\n The Renter agrees to rent the Product for the specified rental period and to comply with all terms outlined herein. This Agreement becomes effective upon confirmation of booking and payment.<\/p>\n The Product is intended solely for recovery purposes, including post-surgical, injury, and athletic use.<\/p>\n The Renter agrees to:<\/p>\n Use the Product only as instructed<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Not misuse, alter, modify, or tamper with the Product<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Maintain the Product in good condition<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The rental period begins on the delivery date and ends on the agreed return date.<\/p>\n Any extension must be requested and approved prior to the original return date.<\/p>\n Failure to return the Product by the agreed return date will result in:<\/p>\n A late fee of $43 CAD per day<\/strong>, applied for each day beyond the rental end date<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Late fees will be automatically charged to the payment method on file<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n If the Product is not returned within five (5) days<\/strong> following the rental end date, and no communication or approved extension has been received:<\/p>\n The Renter agrees to pay a non-return\/replacement fee of $15,000 CAD<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n This amount represents the full replacement value of the Product<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The Company reserves the right to charge this amount to the payment method on file without further notice<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The Renter assumes full responsibility for the Product during the rental period.<\/p>\n Any damage, loss, or theft will result in charges up to $15,000 CAD<\/strong> for full replacement<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Repairable damage will be assessed and charged accordingly<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n This includes, but is not limited to:<\/p>\n Physical damage to the unit<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Damaged or missing wraps, hoses, or accessories<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Improper use, neglect, or mishandling<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n By entering into this Agreement, the Renter acknowledges and agrees:<\/p>\n Any abuse, misuse, or damage that incurs repair fee(s) will be charged to the Renter in accordance with this Agreement<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The Renter is fully financially responsible for all costs related to damage, loss, late return, or non-return<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The Renter expressly authorizes Modern Recovery Lab to charge the payment method on file for:<\/p>\n Rental fees<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Late fees<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Repair costs<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Replacement costs (up to $15,000 CAD)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Non-return charges<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The Renter acknowledges that use of the Product involves inherent risks.<\/p>\n To the fullest extent permitted by law:<\/p>\n The Product is used entirely at the Renter\u2019s own risk<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Modern Recovery Lab shall not be liable for any injury, medical complication, or adverse outcome arising from the use or misuse of the Product<\/p>\n<\/li>\n The Company makes no representations or guarantees regarding medical outcomes<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The Renter is responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare professional prior to use.<\/p>\n The Product is provided on an \u201cas is\u201d basis without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose.<\/p>\n The Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Modern Recovery Lab, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:<\/p>\n Use or misuse of the Product<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Breach of this Agreement<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Injury or damage related to the Product<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The Renter agrees to:<\/p>\n Return the Product using the provided packaging and instructions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Ensure the Product is securely packaged for return shipment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Failure to properly return the Product may result in additional damage charges.<\/p>\n This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.<\/p>\n By completing a rental, the Renter confirms that they:<\/p>\n Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Accept full financial responsibility for the Product<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Agree to all charges and conditions outlined herein<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Terms and Conditions of Rental Modern Recovery LabLast Updated: April 1st, 2026 These Terms and Conditions (\u201cAgreement\u201d) govern the rental and use of equipment provided by Modern Recovery Lab (\u201cCompany,\u201d \u201cwe,\u201d \u201cus,\u201d or \u201cour\u201d).
